Toro Provides Stand-On Aerators For Annual Renewal & Remembrance Event
Toro recently announced that it will take part in the 22nd annual Renewal & Remembrance landscaping event being held at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, on Monday, July 16, 2018. As it has many times in the past, the company is teaming up with Maryland-based Turf Equipment and Supply Company to bring a group of volunteer workers as well as a number of Toro stand-on aerators to work on the grounds. The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) organizes the event.
“We believe our support for this event is just one small way we can help memorialize those who made the ultimate sacrifice—and hopefully bring some solace and comfort to the families and friends who are visiting their loved ones at Arlington National Cemetery,” says Toro Marketing Manager Chris Vogtman. “On behalf of everyone at Toro, we’re humbled by the opportunity to honor the service men and women who have served our country.”
Toro Aerators
There will be two lines of Toro aerators on hand at the event, those from the well-established 30-inch series and then others from the newer 24-inch series. The 30-inch zero-turn stand-on aerators are designed to operate well in confined areas with different speed options and a reversible traction drive. Toro 24-inch stand-on aerators provide similar maneuverability, but also offer the option of a spreader attachment so you can aerate and overseed with one piece of equipment.
More On The Event
The Renewal & Remembrance event is an opportunity for hundreds of volunteers to come help refresh Arlington National Cemetery’s 200 acres of land. The National Association of Landscape Professionals, which puts on the event every year, represents almost 100,000 landscape professionals in the United States alone.
You'll find a big selection of new and used aerators for sale on NeedTurfEquipment.com, including a number of Toro models.
